Fireside Fridays are back! The popular Salish educational series returns for its annual cool-weather run, exclusively for guests of the lodge.
On select Fridays from 5:00 - 6:30pm, Salish is pleased to offer this great way to ease into lodge life and begin your weekend retreat. Located next to the Salish lobby, the Asahel Curtis Library hosts each fireside chat. Enjoy complimentary wine, cheese and a unique presentation by local chefs, artists, musicians, practitioners, or enthusiasts as they share their passions on a wide variety of topics.
Thanks to all of our recent visitors for their enlightening, and fun, chats:
- Living Museum Event: Tribal History & Culture (Apr. 11)
- Emerald Waters Anglers, Northwest Fly Fishing (Mar. 14)
- Boehms Candies, the World of Chocolate (Feb. 15)
- Ken Turner, Avalanches in the Northwest (Jan. 18)
Guest feedback: "A nice treat!" and "They should have this information and speaker in schools..."
- Kim Denend of Moon Valley Honey (Dec. 14)
- Northwest Railway Museum (Nov. 30)
