
Salish Lodge & Spa is pleased to offer high-speed wireless Internet access to our guests with 802.11b/g enabled computers, phones, and PDAs. This service is complimentary to all overnight guests and day only visitors to our spa and restaurants. Guests that would like to access our wireless network should obtain an Access Card with a user name and password from our Front Desk, or a designated Sales Manager or Catering Manager.
Our Wi-Fi® compatible wireless network can be accessed throughout the Lodge in all indoor and most outdoor locations. Please be advised that signal quality may vary to due to environmental and/or user equipment variables.
Wired Internet access is available in all our suites, meeting rooms, and specific public areas around the Lodge. Guests that would like to access our physical network must have a computer that has an Ethernet connection. An Ethernet cable is also required and may be obtained from the front desk if needed. Finally, you will also need to obtain an Access Card with a user name and password from our Front Desk, or a designated Sales Manager or Catering Manager.
For our guests without wireless-enabled devices, dial-up access is available from our guest rooms. Dial up access requires a pre-existing account with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as Earthlink or AOL along with a computer with a built-in modem. Please be advised that telephone charges apply to guests using dial-up Internet services.
Salish Lodge & Spa has a 3-Mbps network with redundant T1 connections to AT&T and Qwest. Guest connections are limited to a maximum of 256k/sec up and down which is more than adequate for most Internet services. Our network capacity is able to accommodate heavy usage during peak occupancy periods. However, access and utilization priority are always given to our overnight, group, and corporate guests.
Complimentary technical support is available 24/7/365, toll-free, from our service provider to guests accessing our wireless or wired network. Salish Lodge & Spa makes no guarantees or warrantees regarding the availability or performance of our Internet services.
