The health and safety of our guests and team members is our number one priority.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have made every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect everyone who enters our doors. We want to re-emphasize this commitment to our community, team members, and guests.
Our already elevated health and safety protocols have been intensified and expanded. In addition to our cleaning and sanitation standards that exceed health department guidelines, and our consistent use of personal protective equipment and social distancing, all of our team members conduct a daily health screening and temperature check as a precondition of reporting to work.
We continue to monitor team members and can report that there have been no positive cases reported. In September we engaged with King County Public Health and voluntarily suspended operations, we were assured that we were very proactive in our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We met the criteria set forth by King County Public health and safely resumed operations on October 8, 2020. "Salish Lodge & Spa cooperated fully with Public Health to address the recent cases of COVID-19.
We implemented additional protocols for guests of Salish Lodge & Spa. Face coverings will continue to be required in all common areas, and guests will now be asked to complete a brief health screening prior to arrival and a temperature check when arriving or returning to the Lodge.
In the event that new positive cases arise, we are committed to timely communication to all who have visited the Lodge during the window of time presenting a potential risk of exposure, no matter how low the risk.
For more than a century, Salish Lodge & Spa has been a respite for travelers, and we take great pride and responsibility in continuing that legacy in a safe, welcoming environment for all. Our guest and team member health and safety remain our top priority.
